Anastasia Lokteva was born in St. Petersburg.
After graduation, she moved to the UK, where she graduated from the University of the Arts London. After university, she worked on the development of prints on fabric at Alexander McQueen.
The first solo exhibition took place in June 2021 at the A.V. Shchusev State Museum of Architecture (Moscow) and in 2022 at the M2 Gallery (Moscow). Together with her artistic activities, Anastasia conducts performative lectures, the last of which was held at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts (Moscow) in 2021 and the M2 Gallery in 2022.
The artist works in various mediums from classical painting, graphics to various performative practices.
Anastasia’s artistic practice is diverse: from deep study of religion and the history of ancient civilizations to modern research in the field of Consciousness.
