Artist's Statement
I am close to the universal language of painting as a medium, its living surface and variability of tone. The ability to create an atmosphere, to delve into the poeticization of an image, capturing in works the fragility and anxiety of the surrounding world, its ordinariness and silence. Lately, I have also turned to ceramics and porcelain as a material that combines fragility and strength.
