Russian photographer specializing in shooting the wildlife of Kamchatka, Africa and the Far North. Spending several months in extreme conditions, be it the jungles of Africa or the far corners of the North, Sergey strives to show people places where «no human foot has ever been». Another vector of Sergey’s work is wildlife conservation. «In the modern world, photography is a powerful tool. Photographs affect people’s consciousness — they begin to look at nature differently», «photographs that show the beauty of the natural world can change the world for the better!» Sergey has a special passion for Bears and Leopards, for the sake of the latter the photographer flew to Africa 22 times, and his interest in bears prompted him to spend many hours shooting in cold water. Sergey’s works have been repeatedly exhibited around the world and published in prestigious international publications. In 2014, Sergey’s works were selected to advertise the Olympic Games in Sochi. Sergey has received 6 BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards in 2007, 2011, and was awarded the Golden Turtle prize in 2020. He is the Wildlife Photographer of the Year. He is the author of 6 personal photo albums: «Bear», «Kamchatka», «Cat's Track», «Kamchatka Odyssey», «Russian Arctic. Wrangel Island», «Putorana Plateau», which are constantly being republished. He is an ambassador for Nikon and National Geographic magazine.
